Segundo um estudo da Universidade de Barcelona realizado em 2007, aumentam o colesterol bom e reduzem o risco de ataque cardíaco. Por outro lado, existem estudos científicos que evidenciam que tanto o tinto como o branco são bebidas alcoólicas que, ingeridas de forma controlada, não influenciam o ganho de peso. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;É o caso de uma investigação da Universidade de Colorado (EUA), de acordo com a qual &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;reduzir o consumo de álcool para não engordar não tem fundamento científico&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;. O responsável pelo estudo explicou que «está assumido que o consumo de álcool aumenta o risco de ganhar peso, pois tem uma densidade energética alta, semelhante à das gorduras. Mas, segundo o nosso estudo e outros similares, bebido com moderação não implica um aumento de peso corporal».&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#990000;"&gt;2-&lt;/span&gt; Beber batidos e sumos de fruta emagrece.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color:#990000;"&gt;Falso!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; Os sumos de fruta e batidos são, &lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;muitas vezes apenas água e o açúcar da fruta&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;, desperdiçando a maior parte do que realmente nos faz falta: fibra, vitaminas e minerais. Já para não falar do facto de o açúcar da fruta - frutose - ser de absorção rápida, o que sacia a fome apenas durante um curto espaço de tempo, levando à necessidade de voltar a comer passado pouco tempo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;«Prefira alimentos que apresentem algum volume» recomenda Magda Roma. «O volume vai levar, não só, ao preenchimento gástrico, como, muitas vezes, estes alimentos têm uma digestão mais lenta, promovendo também a saciedade metabólica», explica a nutricionista. As que somam 150 minutos ou mais, são classificadas como fisicamente activas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;O que podemos perceber quando, classificamos um indivíduo quanto ao tempo que se dedica a um exercício, é que uma pequena parcela, cerca de 5% da população, o faz por opção. Mas não tem por que engordar, se a ingerir em quantidades adequadas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Na realidade, de acordo com a Tabela da Composição de Alimentos do Instituto Nacional de Saúde Dr. Ricardo Jorge, a banana é rica em potássio e fornece muita água (72g), pelo que ajuda a eliminar líquidos, e "só" tem 95 calorias por 100g (o peso aproximado de uma banana média). &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Para além disso, tem um elevado poder saciante, proporcionado pela fibra (3g). Aproveite-o para "matar a fome" ao lanche ou a meio da manhã. Deverá, contudo, evitar a sua digestão depois de uma refeição rica em gorduras.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2-&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Não comer gorduras emagrece.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#990000;"&gt;Falso!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; Não deve eliminar nenhum alimento da sua dieta. O corpo necessita de uma porção diária de gorduras (25-30% do valor calórico total diário), indispensável para assimilar as vitaminas lipossolúveis (A, D, E e K). Para além disso, quando as gorduras são insuficientes, o cérebro segrega uma hormona (galanina) que aumenta a vontade de comer. Motivos mais do que suficientes para não se concentrar naquilo que come, mas sim na quantidade que come. Ou seja, pode e deve comer gorduras, mas sem excessos (não se esqueça que 1g de gordura tem cerca de 9 kcal).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Por outro lado, está desmonstrado que a dieta mediterrânica, que inclui azeite e ácidos gordos ómega - 3 e 6, está associada a um menor risco de Obesidade. Mais uma "prova" que se pode comer (determinadas) gorduras, desde que o faça com moderação.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;É importante, contudo, ressalvar que há gorduras que não são bem-vindas à nossa mesa: os médicos recomendam reduzir ao máximo de uma dieta adelgaçante - e de qualquer regime alimentar, por motivos de saúde - gorduras animais (saturadas), pois fazem subir o mau Colesterol  e, por conseguinte, o risco de padecer de doença cardiovascular. Contudo, embora não engorde, não é conselhável beber muita água durante as refeições pois a água pode, por vezes, obrigar o estômago e o figado produzir grande quantidade de ácidos de modo a conseguirem degradar todos os alimentos podendo provocar sintomas como azia até patologias como úlceras.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Em contrapartida de &lt;em&gt;beber água antes das refeições, sacia a fome e evita "devorar" outros alimentos calóricos&lt;/em&gt;. Isso não significa, porém, que deva beber litros de água antes de comer, porque quando bebemos uma grande quantidade de água, dá-se o alargamento do estômago, que envia ao cérebro uma mensagem, alertando que o estômago ainda não está preenchido convenientemente, aumentando a necessidade de ingestão de maiores quantidades de alimentos&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;2-&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Os sumos naturais são frequentemente mencionados como sendo uma bebida saudável e que «não engorda».&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Falso!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Projecto "Luta contra a Obesidade"&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Foi durante a manhã do passado dia 19 de Fevereiro que decorreu o &lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;rastreio&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; realizado pela parceria entre os projectos "&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Luta contra a Obesidade&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;" e "&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Saúde Oral&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;".&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;O rastreio, que decorreu na sala de exposições da nossa escola, teve início às 10h15 e terminou pelas 11h45.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Apesar de se ter previsto rastrear duas turmas, apenas uma turma compareceu. Tendo por isso, o rastreio incidido apenas sobre 20 pessoas (19 alunos e 1 professor). No entanto, este imprevisto não impediu o sucesso do mesmo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;O rastreio estava dividido em 4 secções, sendo 3 delas pertencentes ao projecto "&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Luta contra a Obesidade&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;" e 1 ao projecto "&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Saúde Oral&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;".&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;As 3 secções do nosso projecto foram dividas consoante a sua função. Sendo que numa foram medidos os valores de glicémia e tensão arterial (pela a &lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;enfermeira Ana Lam&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;); na seguinte foi feito um breve inquérito sobre a alimentação (por dois elementos do projecto); na última secção foi feita a medição do IMC, através do peso e altura (medidos no local) e uma avaliação sobre os resultados obtidos nos testes anteriores, aconselhando os rastreados caso os seus resultados não fossem considerados saudáveis (feito pela a Nutricionista&lt;strong&gt; &lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Drª.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Ana Candeias&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Na secção pertencente ao projecto "&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Saúde Oral&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;" foram realizados testes associados ao tema em questão (pela Higienista Oral, &lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Drª Graça Bento&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Os alunos foram divididos em grupos de 5, sendo que um grupo não entrava na sala enquanto o grupo anterior não fosse rastreado. Sendo os Estados Unidos o pais com maior percentagem de Obesos (31%). &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;De tal forma que após estudos concluiu-se que:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Cerca de 50 mil milhões de dólares  (34 mil milhões de euros) são anualmente gastos em cuidados directos das complicações relacionadas com a Obesidade e outros 30 mil milhões (20 mil milhões de euros) são gastos em produtos e programas para perder peso.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Este somatório representa cerca de 5% dos custos médicos totais nos Estados Unidos. É o primeiro levantamento com dimensão nacional e avaliou cerca de 5 mil crianças e adolescentes de norte a sul do país.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Até aos cinco anos, a prevelência de obesidade e excesso de peso é maior nas raparigas (17,3% contra 15,6%) e tem uma dimensão ligeiramente mais elevada no Norte do país. No entanto, já na adolescência, os números são comuns a todo o território. 28% dos jovens até aos 15 anos estão em situação de pré-obesidade e 11,3% são obesos. É aos 11 anos que os números são mais significativos, com 18,1% dos rapazes afectados por esta doença e 12,3% das raparigas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Este levantamento foi feito a partir de entrevistas e avaliações nos centros de saúde do país. Uma equipa de técnicos mediu o peso, a altura e os perímetros da cintura e ancas, mas consuziu também uma série de entrevistas sobre os hábitos de vida saudáveis, sedentarismo e alimentação dos inquiridos. Os resultados vão agora servir para tomar medidas para combater aquela que já é considerada uma epidemia silenciosa. E servirão para outros estudos comparativos com os outros países.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Os dados mostram que a prevalência da obesidade está em crescimento acentuado nos últimos anos em Portugal. A ONOCOP refere que a tendência vai manter-se, com custos graves de saúde pública: se os problemas de obesidade começam com crianças cada vez mais novas, os adultos do futuro terão mais problemas de excesso de peso.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;A Obesidade é referida como factor de risco para doenças tão diferentes como a diabetes, os AVC, alguns tipos de cancro ou mesmo a gripe A.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Os números portugueses põem o país no grupo dos estados europeus com mais crianças obesas. Quando a gordura está localizada sobretudo no tórax, abdómen e face, associa-se a um risco superior de diabetes, doenças cardiovasculares e mortalidade em geral. É mais frequente nos homens (Imagem 2);&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Obesidade ginóide ou periférica (forma de pêra). Localiza-se basicamente nas ancas e nàdegas. Associa-se a problemas de retorno venoso e artroses nos joelhos. a desenvolver atitudes de responsabilidade na construção dos percursos académicos e profissionais; a colaborar com os outros; a elaborar projectos individualmente ou em grupo; e a saber gerir o seu tempo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Como nos foi proposto pelo nosso professor tivemos que escolher um tema na qual gostavamos de trabalhar e todos os elementos escolheram o tema da SAÚDE.&lt;br /&gt;E deste tema tivemos que escolher um subtema em que o escolhido foi a: OBESIDADE&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Para a escolha deste tema tivemos em conta diversos aspectos entre os quais destacámos o facto de ser um tema bastante actual que convivemos todos os dias, seja de perto ou de longe.&lt;br /&gt;Uma vez que a OBESIDADE é actualmente considerada a "Epidemia do sec.
